Green Beans and Salsa

My Husband’s Aunt made this for Father’s Day dinner. It seemed like an unlikely combination to me, but it tasted really good.

You will need:
1 16 oz package frozen green beans
1/2 to 3/4 cup thick and chunky salsa
1 Tablespoon cilantro

Cook beans according to package directions until crisp-tender, then drain.
Return to low heat.
Stir in salsa, cook 1-2 minutes.
Sprinkle with cilantro.

Makes enough to feed at least 4.
