You will need:
14.5 oz. can of chicken or vegetable broth
14.5 oz. can of diced tomatoes with garlic and onions
15 oz. can of cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup elbow macaroni
3/4 cup grated parmesean cheese
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried basil
dash of salt
dash of pepper
In large saucepan, combine broth, tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil, stir in beans and pasta, reduce heat to low and simmer 10 to 13 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Serve topped with cheese.
Garnish with parsley if desired.
Serve with green salad & bread for a nice meal fast.
