Poppy Seed Salad

You will need:

6 cups of salad greens (red leaf lettuce, boston lettuce and spinach work well for this)

Next, choose from one of the fruit/cheese/nut combinations below:

A) 1cup pecans, 1 cup cubed Brie, and 1 cup raspberries
or
B) 1cup cashews, 1 cup cubed Swiss, and 1 cup strawberries
or
C) 1 cup walnuts, 1cup Havarti, and 1 cup cubed red apples

To make the dressing:

1 cup salad oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 teaspoon onion powder
dash of salt
2 Tablespoons Poppy Seeds

What to do:

1. Wash & tear salad greens
2. Take your chosen fruit/nut/cheese combo and add it to the salad greens.
3. Mix dressing ingredients with a whisk or blender until well blended.
4. Toss salad ingredients with the dressing.
5. Serve.

Serves 6 people.
